The Spirit enables. Shout, “Jesus is Lord!”
Distributing gifts that cannot be ignored,
which varied in nature but single in source,
all manifest fullness and love reinforce.

These gifts are of wisdom and knowledge and faith,
of healing and miracles, prophecy, seeing a case,
of speaking, interpreting what has been said,
all put into action wherever they’re spread.

For just as our bodies have members diverse,
the Body of Christ welcomes all with our quirks.
Without the distinctions of sex, class or race.
We’re made to partake of one Spirit by grace.
