You’re sovereign over everything.
Your glory shines, your thunder sings.
The babes and infants cry your praise
and drown the sound of rivals’ rage.

The heavens that your fingers made
with moon and stars on full display
remind us that we’re merely flesh,
and that we’re destined, each, for death.

You offer honor and the room
for us to rule before our doom,
