Beloved, do not be surprised when troubles come to call.
Christ dealt with stuff like this on earth, found glory through it all.

If you’re reviled for being Christ’s, a blessing’s sure to come,
because the glory he revealed rests with you, ev’ry one.
—–
Submit in trust that God upholds, and uplift’s sure to be
experienced as you release all your anxiety.
—–
But stay on watch for what can catch and snatch your life away.
Stand strong in faith like those who suffer ‘round the world each day.

The God of grace who calls in Christ restores, supports, makes firm,
with pow’r to share out everywhere, forevermore, AMEN.
