On the night of his betrayal, Jesus took a loaf of bread,
Said a pray-er of thanksgiving, breaking it before he said,

Take and eat this as my body. Do it to remember me.
Drink this cup as if it’s blood; a covenant eternally.”

Death is what you’ll be proclaiming as you drink and as you eat.
When he comes, then you’ll be done. Until that day, pray, live in peace.
