Harvest is Why I was Sent

They brought him food and bid him eat,

but he seemed to have no need.

They thought maybe someone had

given him a little snack.

“Do God’s work, it’s nourishment.

Harvest is why I was sent.”

“Though one may sow, another reaps.

Join the labor, shock some sheaves.”

he stayed on to heal and teach.

More were added and affirmed,

“he’s the savior of the world.“
