You Can Never Pick Your Kin

You pick your nose, you pick your friends,

but you can never pick your kin.

Some may be difficult to like,

but hating them is not advised.

—–

When neighbors cheat, speak up, reprove!

Lest guilt they’ve earned adhere to you.

Live free of grudges and revenge.

Love neighbors as yourselves, my friends.
