Hear me people, far and near. Pay attention, lend an ear.
I was named before my birth; called by God who gives me worth.
—–
From my mouth you’ll hear God’s word. Sharper than a two-edged sword.
Hidden safely in God’s hand; ready for the least command.
—–
Servants of the Lord of Grace, what you do is not in vain.
You are honored in God’s sight. Let that be your strength and might.
—–
Raise the tribes and bring them home. Summon them from where they’ve roamed.
Call the nations, be their light. Show salvation in their sight.
—–
Kings will see and they will stand. Princes bow beneath your hand.
God is faithful, kind and true. God, it is, who’s chosen you.
