Upon Your Walls, Jerusalem

Upon your walls, Jerusalem, the watchers day and night

Remind the Lord to take no rest, their voices ceaseless cry.

—-

Jerusalem throughout the earth must come to be renowned.

This, God has sworn by his right hand, and by his mighty arm.

—–

The enemies will not again consume the grain you’ve grown.

Nor drink the wine you’ve labored for. These are your very own.

—–

The harvesters who bring the crop shall eat and praise the Lord

And vintners drink the wine they’ve made within God’s holy courts.

—–

Prepare the way, build up the road, and clear the path of stones.

An ensign lift above the folk whom God has called his own.

—–

The Lord proclaims to all the earth, “Behold, salvation comes”

So call these people “Holy” and Jerusalem “Their Home”.
