From God’s Great Power

Through all strength from God’s great pow’r prepare to endure both sweet and sour

as you joyfully give thanks. For God our Father has provided you an inheritance.

From darkness we’ve been rescued and transferred into another place,

the beloved Son’s kingdom, in whom we have redemption, and by whom our sin is forgiv’n.

The image of the unseen, the firstborn of all that’s created,

in whom all in heav’n and earth both visible and ev-ry-thing unseen find their origin.

The one head of this body, in whom God’s complete was pleased to dwell,

through whom all is reconciled, in earth and hea-ven God cre-a-ted peace through Jesus’ cross.
