Sorting groupies from the roadies, Jesus turned and said to them.
Leave your father and your mother; come, be my disciple then.
And for those who really care, there’s a cross for you to bear.

People who have grand intentions first sit down and make a plan.
They won’t dig for a foundation if completion can’t be done.
Armies don’t go out unless, there’s some chance of a success.
—–
If you wish to be disciples, first consider every cost.
Distance, suff’ring and defeat all add up to potential loss.
If that isn’t quite enough, you must forfeit all your stuff.
