“I came to bring fire to earth,” Jesus said.
“How I wish to see it start.” Some fine day.
“I desire to be baptized, tense until it’s realized.”
“Did you think I came for peace? Well, surprise!”
Focus on a family, two ‘gainst three.
Fathers, mothers, daughters, sons: all angry.
Fractured and in disarray, generations gone astray.
You have seen the portents for many days.
When you see a cloud arise, in the west.
You perceive that rain will come, more or less.
When the wind is in the south, heat is coming, there’s no doubt.
So you know how it will go, here on out.
