The First Commandment

It’s me, it’s me, your LORD. I’m the one who brought you out.

It’s me, it’s me, your LORD. I’m the one who brought you out.

—–

Out of bondage down in Egypt where you were enslaved. I’m the one who brought you out.

Out of bondage down in Egypt where you were enslaved. I’m the one who brought you out.

—–

It’s me, it’s me, your LORD. I’m the one who brought you out.

It’s me, it’s me, your LORD. I’m the one who brought you out.

  1. This one is splendid!
Way back in my university days some classmates invited me to a Bible study led by another of our classmates. We were looking at a passage in Exodus just after the Israelites had crossed the sea and God defeated the chariots and horses. And what were thy doing, they were complaining about food and water.

We need to be reminded of this chorus, and song, for sure.

    Thanks, Ted
