Pleasure and Treasure

God who serves you with good pleasure gives you what to hold as treasure.

In your ardent quest to serve, sell your stuff and change your purse.

—–

Treasure has the strength for towing hearts to where we should be going.

Be prepared while you await God’s own way to operate.

—–

Look for something quite surprising, which will come at God’s arriving.

Tables flip and roles reverse. Soon you’ll see your Lord rehearse.

  1. I noticed that when I saw it yesterday, too. I was hoping that others, like you, would “infer” the meaning through the rhyme with “rehearse” that follows it. Yes, I ought to go back and correct it. Thanks for having looked.
