Continue what you have received through Christ in whom you have believed.
And faithfully as you were taught, be thankful as you know you ought.

Let no one trap you through deceit, tradition or philosophy.
The fullness of God’s deity in Jesus Christ dwells bodily.

Such fullness as you may possess has come from Jesus’ holiness.
Though dead by trespass, you’re alive because of what’s been done in Christ.
—–
Your record’s washed, the warrants, void. The case against you is destroyed.
Do not go back to what once bound or futile rules that held you down.
—–
We grow from Christ to whom we hold, through whom we’re nourished and made whole.
The shadow of what is to come, though partial, leads and draws us on.
