Now, as they went along their way, they stopped a while and came to stay
to take a rest and have a meal at Martha’s house.

Her sister Mary sat nearby and didn’t leave from Jesus’ side
while listening to what he said about it all.

Though Martha toiled at many tasks, she found a little time to ask
if Jesus cared about the work. “Make Mary help.”

Then Jesus answered, “cool your jets,” and “Mary’s chosen what is best.
I will not take that thing away. So here she’ll stay.“
