Firstborn of creation, showing the unseen,
through whom all creation has become what’s real.
Holding all together, firstborn from the dead.
Of all that’s existing, he’s the only head.

All of God containing, reconciling all.
In both earth and heaven, to undo the fall.
Making peace with strangers, bringing sinners in,
to present us holy, blameless once again.

So, continue living steadfast in the faith.
Don’t forsake the hope that set you on the way.
Everyone has heard it, there is nothing hid.
Come join in the rejoicing for what Jesus did.

Breaking ancient ceilings, bursting walls of old.
Making known the riches that the glory holds.
He whom we’re proclaiming, in whose hope is life,
lay hold on his wisdom, be mature in Christ.
