“Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.”
Wisdom wasn’t all he did, he taught knowledge, too.
Proverbs were what he arranged. Used good words to teach them plain.

Sharp as nails, like goads they poke. Keep folks on God’s road.
But be careful where you look. There are many books.
Making them will never end. Studying them wearies flesh.

In the end when all’s been heard, hold on to this word.
Stand in awe of God and law. That’s it. That is all.
There’s a thing that you can trust, good and evil will be judged.
