You, O Lord, be near, come quickly.
Save us from these animals.
Who would snare us, bite and tear us,
claiming that it’s natural.
We’ll praise you in congregations
where your name is yet adored.
For you hear when we cry out, our
weakness you do not abhor.
We will pay our vows to you: to
heal the sick and raise the poor.
All who seek you shall be filled and
ever after praise you, Lord.
All the ends of the earth remember,
all who live and all who’ve died,
Future generations, too, will
know of how you’ve satisfied.
