Did you make a wedding vow to be good and faithful?
Seize the day and start right now; neither be forgetful.

When, within some words of pray’r, you have made a promise,
Don’t say, “when my ship comes in.” Shut up or be honest.

Say just what you mean, be clear. Keep the words you’ve spoken.
God can see and also hear; pledges that are broken.
