I looked and saw oppression as
it’s practiced on the earth.
The tears and the uncomforts
of oppressed folks undeterred.
Oppressors holding power were
uncomforted as well.
The dead are blessed, for living is
an unrelenting hell.
—–
Those who have not been born as yet
are better than the rest.
The evil people live in has
as yet not been THEIR test.
All toil and skill in work are based
in envy of the next.
It’s vanity and chasing wind
that ru-in worst and best.
—–
In laziness fools bide their time,
consuming their own flesh.
A quiet life with just enough
is better than a mess.
To pile up riches for no heir
is just a waste of life.
There’s pleasure in your neighbors and
in all that God provides
