Your faith in our Lord Jesus
and love toward all the saints,
have moved me to remember
and constantly give thanks.
I pray the God of Jesus,
the Father upon high,
to give you revelation,
a spirit strong and wise.

Your hearts infused with knowledge,
your eyes suffused with light,
may you know hope’s full treasure
which comes to you through Christ.
God’s greatness yet unmeasured
is for believers’ gain.
It was at work in Jesus
whom death could not restrain.

Above all rule and power,
and every name that’s named,
both now and in the future,
eternally the same;
the Savior reigns in heaven,
all things beneath his feet.
His sovereignty is total.
His passion is complete
