God is Present Everywhere

When they learned the gates were open, 

certain keepers were dismayed.

Called the porter to explain some 

poor decisions he had made.

He described a trance he’d fallen   

into while up on a roof,

In which he had thrice been challenged. 

That was all, and that was proof.

How upon an invitation, 

God had told him, “time to go.”

In a house he met a man who’d 

seen a recent angel show.

—–

As he spoke the Holy Spirit 

fell on all who’d gathered there. 

So it was that they were baptized. 

God is present everywhere.
