When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week.
Though doors were locked,yet Jesus came, among them bearing peace.

He showed his hands and they rejoiced. They knew this was their Lord.
He breathed the Spirit on them all; commissioned them for work.

The one who was away that day refused his brothers’ sight..
So once again the Lord came in and doubt was put to flight.

To write the things that Jesus did would more than fill a tome,
but these are written so that you will make your hearts his home.
