A secret disciple of Jesus came out
to ask for his Lord from the one who had pow’r.
Obtaining permission, the body removed,
and carried it off to prepare for the tomb.

Another brought aloes and myrrh for his Lord.
They wrapped him for burial in proper form.
A tomb was available near to the place.
Since time was of essence, it’s there he was laid.
