The Enemies of Enemies

The enemies of enemies can sometimes act like friends.

Some Pharisees sought Jesus out, a warning to extend.

He knew what they were after (which was scare him out of town),

so called the king a fox before he quickly doubled down.

—–

He knew these guys for who they were, and what their mission was.

But also knew his destiny, and went ahead because

the long-term end of his intent could not be left undone.

And blessed are all who follow and who in the Lord’s name come.
