Lives can be Hard

Lives can be hard, when lived alone by reason. Hearts can be blind, when turned against the Lord.

Desert shrubs that live alone, will neither see nor feel relief from God.

Trust in the Lord, and blessing will draw near you. Live like a tree that stands beside a stream.

Fear not the heat, stay green, bear fruit. Live free of drought and its anxiety.

Who knows the heart, who understands its wand’ring? It is perverse, and sets out to deceive.

Only God, who searches hearts, can see its ways and know just what we mean.
