On the days that they met him, he gave explanations

from the law and the prophets, of Jesus, his Lord.

Some believed, others doubted. He made a quotation

of some verses from writings they’d read and had heard.

Some will listen and hear but without understanding.

Some may look, they may see, but will never perceive.

Many hearts have grown dull, many ears hard of hearing,

to prevent the transition that leads to belief.

He continued two years while proclaiming the kingdom

And conveying the teaching of Jesus, his Lord.

As a bold and unhindered apostle he told them

of the grace in salvation and life evermore.
