There will be signs in: sun, moon, stars and nations.
Confused distress caused by roaring of the sea waves.
People will faint from fear of what is coming,
with pow’r and glory.
—–
Look at the fig tree, when its leaves have opened,
you know that summer is on the horizon.
When these things happen, you’ll know that God’s kingdom
has dawned upon you.
—–
So be on guard and don’t let dissipation
or daily worries claim your hearts’ attention.
Keep on the watch and pray in ev’ry season
for God is coming.
