The dividends and wages, the rent from things you own,
are subject to taxation, above and here below.
When you report them yearly, you’ll find out what you owe..
Then some of what you have to the government must go.

Though heaven’s far above us, the burden’s not as high;
For each thing has its value, and standard rates apply.
Though, once it’s handed over the payment can’t be slowed.
A refund isn’t due from the taxes that you owed.
