When accusations of a crime are made against someone,
the charges must be public and accusers be made known.

The members of a jury don’t just represent themselves.
The verdicts that they render are society’s as well.
—–
All people who support the systems by which we’re kept safe
participate in sentencing the convicts we berate.
—–
We cannot claim that wrongs are all the doings of some rogues.
When something’s been unjust, we’ll find ourselves, as well, in those.
