Motherly Nagging Leviticus 26:21-22

All mothers know as children grow the way can be quite rough;

that laying down a rule at home is seldom what’s enough.

A gentle nudge from “Mom the Judge” can fail to have effect.

From time to time, just nag; remind. Or else, just give ‘em heck.

The ants that come for cracker crumbs that lie between the sheets

are gentle when compared to sickness that one’s strength depletes.

It’s like a curse when friends disperse because the car’s withdrawn.

So listen to your mother, e’re the privleges are gone.
