The Clergy Shuffle Leviticus 21:1-9

If you’re going to join the clergy, there are choices you must make.

Sometimes you’ll need superpowers, holding back for others’ sake.

—–

Though you’re poorly paid you can’t dress shabbily or flat out wild.

What you’re wearing should approximate a fairly recent style.

—–

Don’t forget your fam-i-ly aren’t priestly, and, in fact, they’re free.

They come first, so if there’s conflict, clergy’s what you should not be.

—–

Heed your call, but make your choices. No one forced the path you take.

Like all other humans you are loved through death for heaven’s sake.
