Ev’ry week the plate is passed and people have a chance to give.
Sometimes for a special need that plate is sent around again, and
that’s when, we get another chance to, dig deep, help with somebody’s need.
—–
Oftentimes it seems that the money is a church’s only need.
Asking us to part with something demonstrates if we have greed, and
that’s when, we need a special chance to, dig deep, help with another need.
—–
Given that we’re so deeply thankful for such goodness far and wide,
extra holidays for giving have been specially supplied, and
that’s when, we get another chance to, dig deep, help with a special need.
—–
Tithes and gifts and offerings are always gratefully received.
Since we cannot take it with us, we’ll unload before we leave so
we’ll take, every chance we get to, dig deep, help with another’s need.
