Gather in Solemnity Leviticus 23:33-36

In a restaurant a booth is not a place to start a fire.

If, however, you’re at home, then build a tent and live outside.

Seven nights beneath the stars in mem’ry of the pioneers

who departed somewhere else and traveled far to settle here.

Camping is a splendid way to re-create the days of yore.

How your ancestors meandered out across the desert floor.

Thankfully, they weren’t alone, they wandered in community.

You, as well, should take the chance to gather in solemnity.
