Like a nation long ago, modern families have scapegoats.
All the badness that has been is attributed to them.

Blame is easier to spread, but it’s something many dread.
Drop it all onto a child. Call her wrong, and deem her wild.

Don’t encourage her success. Banish her to homelessness.
Lay on her your vilest curse, call her filthy things, and worse.

When she runs away, she’s free! Choose another one (a HE).
If your offspring are enough, they will last until you snuff.
