Before the Lord the needs of rich and poor are both the same,
but their respective situations call for different rates.

Not everyone is equal, (though we’d like to think it so),
some float across the pits of life, and others downward go.
—–
The principle giving thanks for health and other stuff
applies to all, but does not call for more than is “enough.”
—–
The rituals are much the same no matter who may come,
but what is brought as offerings will differ more than “some.”
