Come, to be ordained
Join those who participate,
hand and thumb and ear and toe,
at an altar where, before,
blood was shed and bread was shared.
Raise your hands in prayer.

Give your ev’ry part,
Body, spirit, soul and heart,
to the service of your Lord.
All that you receive, return.
Even if you’re bound to burn,
Through obedience, learn.
