Coming From the Wilderness

Smokin’ hot and smellin’ fine,

here he comes, that man of mine,

best of all the men of swords

who have thighs of might at night.

—–

On a bed of finest wood,

posts of silver, back of gold,

sheets of purple, laid with love,

Solomon my lover, come.

—–

Daughters of Jerusalem.

come, behold the best of men.

Mother-crowned and glad of heart,

let the bedded bliss now start.
