The leech has two daughters;‘Give, give,’ they cry. Three things are never satisfied; four never say, ‘Enough’: Sheol, the barren womb, the earth ever thirsty for water, and the fire that never says, ‘Enough.’ If you have been foolish, exalting yourself, or if you have been devising evil, put your hand on your mouth. Proverbs 30:15,16 & 32

Each leech has two offspring, “Give and give,” they cry.
Like four other things they won’t be satisfied.
—–
Death’s receptive maw and; wombs that cannot bear;
land that has no water, fire that does not care.
—–
If you have been foolish, and exalt yourself,
If you plan on evil, stop it now, or else!
