Proverbs 30: 21-23 Under three things the earth trembles; under four it cannot bear up: a slave when he becomes king, and a fool when glutted with food; an unloved woman when she gets a husband, and a maid when she succeeds her mistress.

—–
Under three things, is the whole world a-tremble,
and there’s a fourth that it cannot bear up:
Should the enslaved, attain royal power
Those at the top will incite a revolt.
—–
Under these things, ‘cause of these things, many communities suffer.
Under these things, they cannot endure. Civilization is ending.
—–
There are two more, that set foundations shaking.
One deals with food and the other with love:
when a fool eats and hunger is banished;
when marriage finds one who sojourned alone.
—–
Under these things, ‘cause of these things, many communities suffer.
Under these things, they cannot endure. Civilization is ending.
—–
Under three things, has the whole world been trembling.
Yet there’s another that brings it all down:
when a man dumps the woman he’s married,
turning instead to the nanny or maid.
—–
Under these things, ‘cause of these things, many communities suffer.
Under these things, they cannot endure. Civilization is ending.
