The Burden of Ignorance and the Sufficiency of God

Not knowing is a burden. Understanding is a chore.

The wisdom we re-qui-re always calls on us for more.

The cosmos is unfathomed, and the universe so vast,

The ignorance we fear yet holds us tightly in its grasp.

Though God is over all and speaks in metaphors so grand;

we opt for ink on pages where we think to take a stand.

The word and law of heaven aren’t confined to human speech,

nor are they in our grasp. They work beyond where we can reach.
