House Afire

Hearing reproof, remaining unchanging;

stubbornly saying that no wrong was done

will lead to something sudden and not fun.

Broken too far to heal.

—–

Strife is stirred when you’re living by anger.

Fools let it fly to harm and to pollute.

Hotheads are causes of a lot of sin.

Don’t hang around with them.

—–

Quick with words is a gift not to envy.

Even a fool appears as wise if quiet.

Don’t be the one to partner with a thief.

Listen to victims’ cries.

—–

If you’re blameless, expect to be hated.

Uprightness doesn’t give you any edge.

Scoffers will set your house on fire one day

God is your only trust.
