Though we must struggle with wickedness always
principled people know fear and happiness.
The faithful will abound with blessing all around.
Righteousness makes us bold as a lioness.

Confess, forsake your wrong; me-r-cy is strong
Seek for the source of life, you will understand.
Justice and wisdom bring safety in following
lives integrated with generosity.

Freed from the ponderous burdens of blaming,
standing on shoulders of those who went before;
we’ve an inheritance as we yet earn our bread.
Trusting in God we boldly and onward go.
