Speak Graciously

Graciously speak using words that are pure.

Speak with care as you answer, don’t lie.

And heed good advice, find your heart filled with light.

You’ll be honored and lodged with the wise.

Righteous folk know that their praying is heard,

and their joy and refreshment are clear.

While wicked folk dwell far away from the Lord

and their troubles are really severe.

—–

Those who are wicked and make evil plans

find that greed and pride trouble their homes.

Despising themselves and ignoring what’s taught;

they will see that their houses will fall.
