Don’t forget the things you’ve learned but hold them tightly in your heart.
Length of days and years of life; abundant welfare they impart.
—–
Loyalty and faithfulness enhance the person who you are.
Reputation, adulation, will be yours from near and far.
—–
Yes, you’re smart, but there’s one smarter in whom you should put your trust.
When you’re guided by God’s wisdom all your pathways will be just.
—–
If you would be healthy, turn from evil when the choice is clear.
Let your body know refreshment found in holy, godly fear.
—–
Don’t be greedy, feed the needy. They’re around you all the time.
There’s enough for everybody; barns of plenty, vats of wine.
—–
Take correction and instruction. These are offered out of love.
They are demonstrations of the care that’s lavished on you from above.
