The day is surely coming, for God to make anew
the covenant with people, unlike the one we knew.
Those sacred vows got broken, that special union fell,
and people lost their hope in, what saved and kept them well.

God’s law should be within us, engraved upon our hearts,
A bond that can’t be broken, a cord that never parts.
We’ll need no one to teach us, that we should know the Lord.
All sin will be forgiven, remembered nevermore.
