I Trust in You

God of grace I trust in you when / enemies oppress

All day long they trample, so Lord / hear this, my request

O most High I look to you when / ever I’m afraid

There is nothing flesh can do; it’s / your way that I’ll praise.

Everything they think and do is / meant to bring me strife.

So repay them for their crimes, God / take their very life.

All my tears are in your bottle,  / deeds are in your book.

When I call you’ll come and those op / posed will sure be shook.

You have kept my feet from falling  / and my soul from death

I will pay my vows to you, give / praise with ev’ry breath.
